Susan Oldham

Susan Oldham joined The Tapestry Group in March 2007 as Executive Director, and in doing so, completed a full circle with Sharon. She worked with Sharon at Duke Power in the 1980s, which is ironically about the time our Marketing Director, Stetson was born. Susan held a variety of positions at Duke Power in the areas of finance, human resources, and corporate communications, and worked as an organization design/human resources consultant before leaving corporate life to stay home full time with her children for the past 10 years. She also enjoys volunteering for a number of community efforts and leading Bible studies for varied women groups. Susan, her husband Bill and their three children have also lived in Atlanta, Richmond, and most recently, Spartanburg, Bill's hometown.
A LITTLE BIT MORE
Favorite Pizza Topping: Supreme
Guilty Pleasure: Buying magazines....sometimes I even buy the same one twice by accident. I guess that's what happens when you turn 50.
Childhood Dream: I wanted to be the next Erma Bombeck or write sappy cards for Hallmark.
Greatest Joy In Life: My husband and 3 kids. I am also looking forward to my future son-in-law joining the family in May 2008.
Chocolate/Vanilla: Neopolitan
Favorite Fast Food: My kitchen--anything I cook has to be fast.
Favorite Song: "You've Got a Friend," by James Taylor
Fun Fact About Yourself: I love to dance, and my sister and I have the same birthday, eight years apart.
Favorite Thing About Working At Tapestry: My friends here, Sharon, Stetson, and Janette. I also enjoy working in an old 1832 house and listening to the heart-filled stories of other women from all walks of life.
Favorite Bible Verse(s): All of them. There are so many to love, and God has spoken different messages through the same Word, given my season and my situation in life. One of my all-time favorites is Romans 8:38-39, because no matter what, nothing can separate us from the love of God that we have in Jesus Christ.
"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the LOVE OF GOD that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
I also love to read the Psalms and I found this precious little girl on GodTube.
